Airside Development Assurance Manager

February 2008 to February 2012

• Led 10-person team providing assurance and works approval of airside development projects, including new infrastructure, commissioning, and maintenance, which supported Heathrow’s operational resilience.
• Created the airport development assurance process accepted by the UK CAA’s Safety Regulation Group. Chaired the Airside Works Approval Board and regular operational safety review meetings with ATM provider NATS. 
• Contributed business expert user input on the development of A-CDM.
• Business process change lead for airfield works approval, Agile development, using PEGA systems.
• Led multi-disciplined Heathrow business recovery teams in the British Airways APOC during operational crisis.
• Modelling work with INFORM for Ground Handling Study to determine optimum number of Heathrow handlers.
• Analysis and development of airfield safety, runway incursion prevention and performance.
